Event Campaign Design

The 8th annual Hall of Fame adopted a theme of technology, for the event branding I made an effort to translate that theme into the connection technology brings the alumni and the students of Full Sail University. Reflective holographic papers and foil made their way into the printed and giveaway items to represent a sense of reflection of the alumni to the student, the student to the university, and encourage their connection. The digital holographic paper stock used on the cover of the brochure won Platinum Creative and Designer’s Press “Printer of the Year” award from the 2017 Florida Print Awards. It was the first of it’s kind, experimental in process, using only white ink in a digital HP printer to achieve different opacities for an unmistakeable result. How it’s Made

A photoshoot prop was designed from the Hall of Fame logo and built from scratch. The side walls were laser cut acrylic, sanded and welded together with a plastic solvent. The interior of the channels were lined with LEDs to create a fun glowing effect. Encased in foam the traveling 8 went to the city of each inductee to be photographed interacting with the prop.
